STUDENT INFORMATION
1. Congratulations to the 7th and 8th grade Girls’ Basketball teams on their victories over Effingham Thursday night.
2. Congratulations to all Band students who participated in the ILMEA District 5 Auditions in Effingham yesterday.
3. Good luck to the 6th grade Girls’ Basketball team tonight in Vandalia at 6:00.
4. Good luck to 7th & 8th grade Girls’ Basketball teams in Nokomis tonight at 6:00. Bus leaves at 5:00.
5. Garden Club will meet tomorrow after school. If you are planning on attending tomorrow stop by Mrs. Mansfield room 117 today.
6. Do you like to draw, play an instrument, write poems/songs, paint or participate in any other form of artistic self-expression? If you do, come to Mr. Zini’s room on October 20th after school. We’re going to start meeting every other Monday for the rest of the fall and winter. Have a ride ready to take you home at 4:30. This group is open to all junior high students.
7. Book Fair is open in the Media Center today and tomorrow. Be sure to visit between 8:00 and 2:00.
8. 8th grade Boys’ Basketball Open Gym is tonight from 6:00 – 7:30.
9. Wrestling Open Mats begins tonight from 6:30 to 7:30 in the Wrestling Room.
10. Today is the last day to turn in Fannie May Candy order forms. Please bring them into the office. Make sure your name and grade are on the order form.
11. The Drama Club will be conducting its monthly meeting Thursday, October 16th, in the Forum, 3:30 to 5:00. The club is seeking students interested in being in the Spring Production, “Hotel Escargot”. Come learn about the Drama Club and join in the fun of acting and improvisation. The Drama Club is open to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
12. Picture day is Friday. Remember to take your picture order form with you to PE. 8th grade Girls BB will have their picture at 8:00 a.m., 7thgrade Girls BB 8:15, Poms at 3:30 and Cheer at 3:45.
