  1. Good luck to the 7th & 8th Grade Girls Basketball teams at Macon against Meridian. Game time is at 6:00. Departure time is 4:45.
  2. Good luck to the 6th Grade Girls Basketball team tonight in Auburn at 6:15.
  3. Good luck to the 5th Grade Girls Taylorville Youth Basketball Team against Illiopolis HOME at 6:00.
  4. 7th Grade Boys Basketball tryouts are today from 3:30 to 5:00 in the North Gym
  5. 8th Grade tryouts are from 7:00 to 8:30 today in the North Gym.
  6. All TJHS students are invited to join the Gold Rush.  The group will promote school spirit and support our junior high sports teams.  Membership fee is $15 which includes an official Gold Rush T-shirt and free admission to designated ball games including 2 girls basketball, 2 boys basketball, and 2 volleybal games.  Envelopes are available on the office counter and can be turned into your 1st hour/homeroom teacher through October 26.  Come be a part of #TornadoNation!
  7. Door Contest for Red Ribbon Week will begin next week. Doors will be judged on Wednesday, October 26th after school.  Winners will receive doughnuts: 5th grade in the morning; 6th & 8th grades will get their doughnuts 1st hour and 7th grade 8th hour.
