  1. Congratulations to the 6th grade Boys Taylorville Youth Basketball team for their win over Pana last night!
  2. Good luck to the 7th & 8th grade Boys Basketball teams against Mt. Zion tonight at 6:00. Departure time is 4:45.
  3. Good luck to the Wrestling team at home against Monticello Middle School tonight at 5:00.
  4. Chess Club Tournaments will be today from 3:15 to 4:00 in Mr. Hill’s room.
  5. The drama club auditions have been changed to Thursday after school until  5:30 P. M.  The parent meeting for tonight has been cancelled and rescheduled for this coming Monday, January 23rd directly after line practice.
  6. Good luck to those who will be competing in the TJHS Geography Bee, which is to be held in the Forum at 4:00 on Wednesday, January 18: Weston Erlenbush, Daniel Sloan, Matthew Conaway, Jake Johnson, Mason Bates, Jack McGrath, Ryan Bates, Wesley Powers, Jayden Hopkins, and Gary Fishburn.
  7. The Student Viewpoint Survey starts today through February 14th. After completing the survey, fifth graders will receive their Cookie Ticket from their classroom teacher. Sixth and 8th grades will get tickets from 1st hour teachers and 7th grade students need to see your 8th hour teachers.
