  1. Congratulations to the 7th & 8th grade Girls Volleyball teams for their wins over Stephen Decatur last night.
  2. Good luck to our Speech Contestants tomorrow in Illiopolis at Sangamon Valley Middle School. Students participating in the contest need to meet at the Junior High by 7:35 a.m.. The bus leaves promptly at 7:45.
  3. Good luck to the 6th grade Boys Taylorville Youth Basketball team in the Hillsboro Tournament. 6th grade boys play at 3:00 against Edwardsville.
  4. February book orders for the Media Center are due today.
  5. There will be an informational meeting for all 8th grade boys who are interested in playing Freshman Football next season.  Coach Odam will meet with you Thursday, February 23rd immediately after school in the cafeteria.
  6. Eight grade Girls Volleyball Recognition and Gold Rush Night is Tuesday, February 21st.
  7. No school on Monday in observance of Presidents’ Day.
  8. School will be dismissed today at 1:00 for School Improvement Day. The schedule is as follows: 1st Hour 8:20 - 8:52
