2. Drama Club will meet today in the Forum after school until 5:30.  Thursday’s rehearsal will be in the Forum from 5:30 to 7:00 with a parent meeting from 7:00 to 7:30.
3. Lego Robotics Club will meet today in Mr. Brown’s room (113) from 3:15 to 4:15.
4. The Newspaper Club is meeting tomorrow in Mrs. Richardson’s room (106) after school until 3:45.
5. The Chess Tournament will be tomorrow in Mr. Hill’s room (107) after school until 4:00.
6. Yearbook order forms orders are due by February 10th and checks are to be written out to Taylorville Junior High.

1. Congratulations to the 8th grade Boys for beating the number one seed at the Regional Basketball tournament in Effingham last night!  They will play for the Regional Championship this Thursday, February 1st against Stephen Decatur.
2. Congratulations to the 8th grade Lady Tornado Volleyball team for their victory over Meridian last night!

2. Good luck to the Wrestling Team in Mt. Zion today at 5:00.  All wrestlers are to leave from North School at 3:30.
3. Good luck to the 7th grade Boys Basketball team in the Basketball Regionals tomorrow!
4. The Drama Club will be holding a clinic today in the cafeteria after school until 5:00.  Auditions will be next Tuesday, January 23rd and Wednesday, January 24th in the Forum after school until 5:00.
5. Coach Brown is hosting the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade Boys Basketball players at the High School Varsity Boys Basketball game on Tuesday, January 23rd. All players should be at the High School by 6:00 tip-off time and wear your basketball warmup shirts to get free admittance to the game!
6. Group Picture Day is today. There is a schedule of Group Picture times on the office window. Also, each teacher has been emailed a copy.

1. Good luck to the Wrestling Team tomorrow in Jacksonville.  Matches will begin at 10:00 a.m..
2. Group Picture Day is next Friday, January 19th. 6th grade Taylorville Youth Volleyball team and Junior High Wrestlers need to pick up picture order forms from the office.
3. The Drama Club will be hosting its annual clinic with auditions.  It is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grades.  The clinic days begin today, Friday, Jan. 12th, after school in the cafeteria - and continues next week Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 16 & 17th, also in the cafeteria.  The audition for the comedy/western, "The Brothers O'Toole" will Thursday and Friday, Jan. 18th & 19th, in the forum.  All meetings are after school,  3:15-5:00 P.M.
