STUDENT INFORMATION
      1.      Congratulations to the 8th grade boys basketball team on their victory last night over
   Decatur Jefferson
      2.     TYS 6th grade volleyball will have an additional tryout on Monday, Dec 3rd from
              5:00-6:30 to determine the final team roster for 6th grade volleyball.  If your name was
              on Thursday’s list, please attend the tryout on Monday.   
      3.     5th grade girls volleyball tryouts will be tonight, Nov. 30th from 6-7:30 in the Stonington
              Gym.
      4.     6th grade boys basketball open gyms will be Wednesday, Dec 5th, 4-5:30. Tryouts will
              be Dec. 9th from 6-8 and December 11th from 4-5:30. Open Gyms and tryouts will be
              held at TJHS. Pick up a waiver in the office or from the coach.
      5.     5th grade TYS boys basketball tryouts will be Sunday, December 9th from 4-5:30 and
              Monday, December 10th from 5:00-7:30 at TJHS.  Please pick up a waiver from the jr
              high office, on facebook or from the coach.
      6.     7th grade girls volleyball tryouts will be Dec. 12th from 5:30-7:30 and Dec. 13th from
              3:30 to 5:30 at TJHS.
      7.     8th grade girls volleyball tryouts will be Dec. 12th from 3:30 to 5:30 at TJHS  and Dec.
              13th from 3:30-5:30 at North.
      8.     Picture retakes will be Dec.4th.  Picture order forms are in the office.
      9.     The 6th grade will be having a food drive from now until December 14th. All grades
              please bring in food items for the food pantry.
     10.     Illinois is celebrating its 200th birthday on December 3.  In the main hallway is facts on
              Illinois.  Your social studies teacher will be giving you a google form to answer 20
  questions on Illinois.  Students who answer correctly will have their name in a drawing
  for a $25 gift card.  One winner for each grade level.
     11.     The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet in Mrs. Hughes’s room 111, at 7:30 am
               on Wednesday, December 5th.
     12.      The Builders Club will meet on Monday, December 3rd after school until 4 in Mrs.
                Foil’s Room.
     13.      The Chess Club will meet on Tuesday, December 4th after school.
     14.      The Lego Club will meet on Wednesday, December 5th until 4:15.

STUDENT INFORMATION

     1.    Good luck to the 7th grade girls basketball team tonight in their sectional game against

             Chatham at Rochester at 6:30

     2. TYS 6th grade volleyball will have open gyms tonight from 6-7:30 in

             the East Gym at the high school. Tryouts will be 11/29.  6th grade girls please come

             to the office for a team waiver.       

     3. 5th grade girls volleyball tryouts will be Nov. 30th from 6-7:30 in the Stonington Gym.

 the regional last night. Good luck to the 8th grade girls in their regional championship

 game tonight at 6:00 against Rochester.

              Springfield Grant at 6:00.
      3.   5th grade girls volleyball will have open gym tonight from 6-7:30 in Stonington.
      4.     TYS 6th grade volleyball will have open gyms 11/26, 11/28 and 11/29 from 6-7:30 in
              the East Gym at the high school. 6th grade girls please come to the office for a team

      5.     TYS 6th grade boys basketball will have open gym on Sunday, Nov 25th at 3:00 in the
              TJHS gym. Please come to the office to pick up a waiver.
      6.     7th and 8th grade students will leave their Chromebooks in their 8th hour classes on
              Wednesday 11/21.
      7.     School will dismiss at 2:20 on Wednesday for the Thanksgiving Holiday and there will
              be no school on Thursday and Friday of this week.
