STUDENT INFORMATION   

1. There will be an informational meeting for any boy interested in playing Freshman Football on Friday, March 29 at 2:40 in the cafeteria.  We will discuss weight room hours, summer participation and camp, and the 2019 Taylorville Tornadoes Lift-a thon! This will be the beginning of your high school football journey!
2. Any 6th or 7th grade student interested in trying out for TJHS cheer should

           sign up in the office.

     3. The Trotting with the Mini Horses 5k Fun Walk/Run will be April 13th at 8:00 am. If you

          would like more information, please come to the office.

     4 In honor of the opening day of baseball, if students eat a  lunch provided by the cafeteria,

     they can have a chance to win some  baseball (Cards & Cubs) swag items.

     5. Dress like a rockstar on Friday March 29th.

     6. The Builders Club has a table in the front hallway.  They are taking donations for the Heartland Mini Hoofs Therapy.  Students and Staff may bring a donation for a chance to win a $50.00 gift card.  $5 - one ticket, $10 - two tickets, $15- three tickets, $20 - four tickets. All proceeds go to the Mini Horses.  It will be used to purchase brushes, detangler and shiners, uniforms, hay, feed, farrier (feet), fall and spring shots, floating (teeth), treats, transportation costs and waste bags.

     7. Good luck to the Scholastic Bowl Team tonight at Springfield Grant with Iles.  Please dismiss Scholastic Bowl team members after 8th hour today.

     8. The Yearbook Club will meet on Monday, April 1st in Rm 122 until 4:00.

     9. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet in Rm 111 at 7:30 am on Wednesday, April 3rd.

    10. IAR testing will begin on Tuesday, April 2nd. Students need to remember to charge their devices each night in preparation for the test.
