STUDENT INFORMATION
- Good luck to the 7th & 8th grade Boys Basketball in Hillsboro tonight at 6:00.
- Good luck to the 8th grade Girls Basketball in the Regional Tournament tonight at 6:00 in the North Gym.
- Sign up sheets for the 7th and 8th grade Volleyball teams are in the office.
- Art Club will meet tomorrow in Mrs. Elliot's room from 3:15 to 4:00.
- Chess Club will meet tomorrow in Mr. Hill’s room from 3:15 to 4:00.
- 5th grade Game Club will meet tomorrow in the HOT Spot from 3:15 to 5:00.
- The school level competition for the 30th annual National Geographic Bee will be here soon! All seventh grade students will be participating through their geography classes on December 13th - 15th, while sixth and eighth grade students may choose to compete after school and lasting until 3:45 on Tuesday, December 12th or Wednesday, December 13th. Sixth and eighth graders interested in participating need to sign up in the office by Friday, December 8th. Finalists will be determined before the holiday break. Finalists will then compete on Wednesday, January 10th after school to determine the school-level winner. Anyone wanting more information needs to see Mrs. Foil, Mrs. Rice, or Mr. Nieves.
- Any student in grades 5 through 8 interested in participating in the IESA State Speech Contest should see their grade level coach to sign up. Taylorville Junior High will be hosting the contest this year on Saturday, February 17th! Grade level coaches are: 5th & 6th grade - Mrs. Richardson; 7th grade - Mrs. Beckley; 8th grade - Mrs. Albersen. You can sign up through December 1st!
- Fannie May Candy money is due this Friday, December 1st.
