STUDENT INFORMATION
- Congratulations to the 8th grade Girls Basketball team for a fantastic season!
- Good luck the our 7th grade Girls Basketball team tonight in the Sectionals against Rochester at Mt. Zion. Game time is 6:30. We will be having a pep assembly today at 2:45 to cheer our Lady Tornadoes on to victory! All classes need to be in the gym by 2:45.
- Good luck to the 5th grade Girls Taylorville Youth Basketball team tonight against Holy Family here at 6:00.
- 6th Grade Taylorville Youth Volleyball final tryout will be today from 6-7:30 at the high school east gym.
- Sign up sheets for the 7th and 8th grade Volleyball teams are in the office.
- LEGO Club is meeting today in Mr. Brown’s room (113) from 3:15 to 4:15. Members need to bring AAA batteries.
- Builders Club will meet tomorrow at Manners Park from 3:30 until the Christmas setup is completed.
- Recycling has been canceled for today.
- Sixth and Eighth grade students only: There is still time to participate in the 30th annual National Geographic Bee. Those interested in participating need to sign up in the office by Friday, December 8th. Anyone wanting more information needs to see Mrs. Foil, Mrs. Rice, or Mr. Nieves.
- Any student in grades 5 through 8 interested in participating in the IESA State Speech Contest should see their grade level coach to sign up. Taylorville Junior High will be hosting the contest this year on Saturday, February 17th! Grade level coaches are: 5th & 6th grade - Mrs. Richardson; 7th grade - Mrs. Beckley; 8th grade - Mrs. Albersen. You can sign up through December 1st!
- Fannie May Candy money is due this Friday, December 1st.
