School Information:

Any student interested in the Healthy Kids Running Series can pick up a flier in the office.

Chromebooks will be given to students on Wednesday, August 24th and Thursday, August 25th.  On 8/24, chromebooks will go to 5th and 8th grade. 8th grade students will get theirs during science classes and our technology staff will come to 5th grade classrooms to hand out chromebooks to those students.  On August 25th, 6th and 7th grade students will get their chromebooks during science classes. Please remember to charge your chromebook each night and bring it with you to school each day. 

Also, just a reminder that TJHS has one point of entry each and every morning–it is the main entrance. So, if you get dropped off near the basketball courts you will need to walk to the main entrance.

 Good Luck to the baseball team in their games tonight.

Advisory teachers have application forms for students interested in being a Student Council representative. Interested students should fill out the application form and turn it in to either Miss Morgan in room 116 or Mrs. Rice in room 310 no later than 3:30 on Friday, August 26, 2022.

-We will be having incentives for perfect attendance this year. There will be grade level competitions and a perfect attendance breakfast for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarter. It will be all or nothing! The 4th quarter will be something different, but it will be an afternoon of fun. 

–Also, just a reminder that TJHS has one point of entry each and every morning–it is the main entrance. So, if you get dropped off near the basketball courts you will need to walk to the main entrance.

–Any student interested in Art Club can sign up in with Mr. Wolters in the Art Room before or after school.

-We will be having incentives for perfect attendance this year. There will be grade level competitions and a perfect attendance breakfast for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd quarter. It will be all or nothing! The 4th quarter will be something different, but it will be an afternoon of fun. 

–Students, this is a reminder that breakfast and lunch are free this year. Please be sure to take advantage of our food program each and every day.

–Friday is Purple & Gold Day at TJHS and there is a scrimmage beginning at 6 pm at the high school.

–Cell phone and SmartWatch reminder–students this is a reminder to make sure your cell phones and SmartWatches are off and away in your locker each day. 

Make sure when you are leaving the building that you are using the sidewalks and only crossing Pawnee St. at the designated crosswalks.
