- Congratulations to the 8th Girls Basketball team for their victory at Rochester last night.
- Today is wear your Purple & Gold day! Tomorrow wear your favorite team jersey.
- Lego Robotics Club will have a general meeting today from 3:15 to 3:30. This club is open to any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student. Meeting will be in Mr. Brown’s room, 113.
- Homecoming Parade is today at 5:00. JFL players are to meet at the Fairgrounds at 4:45 to walk in the Homecoming Parade.
- In preparation for the Homecoming Football Game, 8th grade band members will be rehearsing with the HS band on Thursday, October 6 and will miss first hour. Students should be checking with teachers for work.
- The nurse will be conducting Vision and Hearing screenings the rest of this week. Please keep the visits to the nurse to emergencies only. Thank you.
- McTeachers Night is tomorrow, October 6th, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
- Attention all students interested in joining the TJHS wrestling program for the 2016-2017 school year: Open mats will begin Wednesday, October 12th, 2016 @ the North School Annex. Wrestling Room @ 3:45 p.m. Open mats are for students grades 5-8 and will be held every Monday and Wednesday until the start of the season. Also, any student who participates in open mats will be eligible to participate in the Annual Purple and Gold Wrestle Offs on November 17th, 2016 at THS. If you have any questions, contact Coach Mateer at THS.
- Teachers’ Institute is Friday, October 7th. We will not have school that day.
- Hallway lockers may NOT be shared. Your materials and books need to be in your own locker.
- It’s Fannie May Fundraising time! Remember all orders are due by October 11th. Do not collect money for orders until you deliver the candy. Extra order forms are in the office.
- Picture Day is October 14th. Please keep your order forms. You will turn it in to the photographer when you get your picture taken.
