- Congratulations to the 7th grade Boys Basketball team for their win last night in the Pana Invite!
- Good luck to the 7th & 8th grade Girls Basketball teams against Springfield Jefferson here tonight at 6:00.
- Good luck to the 8th grade Boys Basketball team against Williamsville in the Chatham Tournament tonight at 5:30.
- Good luck to the 6th grade Girls Taylorville Youth Basketball team against Pana tonight at 6:00.
- Jr. High (IESA) Wrestling sign-ups are today and tomorrow from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Jr. High cafeteria. Cost is $60 per wrestler. Wrestler and parent/guardian must attend a mandatory meeting starting @ 7:30 p.m. on one of those nights.
- Taylorville Youth (IKWF) Wrestling sign ups are also today and Wednesday (11/2) at the Jr. High (6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.). Cost is $60 per wrestler. New participants MUST have a copy of their birth certificate or they will not be permitted to sign-up.
- Newspaper Club will begin for 5th-8th grade students who enjoy writing and would like to write articles for the online school newspaper. Join us Thursday, Nov 3rd in Mrs. Richardson's classroom, Room 106, after school until 3:45.
- It’s not too late to join the Chess Club. You can stop by Mr. Hill's room for informational package. Next chess club meeting is November 8, 2016.
