- Congratulations to the 8th grade Boys Basketball teams for their victories over Teutopolis last night!
- Congratulations to the 6th grade Boys Taylorville Youth Basketball team for their win over Vision Way!
- Good luck to the 7th & 8th grade Boys Basketball teams tomorrow at the Lincoln Shootout. Game times are 2:15 and 3:30.
- Students who sold 20 boxes or more Fannie May products got their names entered in the Hover Board drawing. Congratulations to Payton Harris for winning the Hover Board!
- 8th grade students: Have you ever thought about becoming a teacher? Do you have patience with younger children? Do you make good grades? Do you have 30 minutes to volunteer tutoring after school a few nights a week? If you answered “Yes”, please see Mrs. Vincent.
- 7th graders who want to do the speech contest, need to see Mrs. Beckley in room 103 to sign up for a skit before Christmas break.
- 5th and 6th graders interested in participating in this year’s speech contest, need to see Mrs. Richardson in room 106 to sign up and pick out your skit. You will need to get an entry form signed and returned to Mrs. Richardson by Tuesday, Dec. 13th.
- Media Center book orders are due today.
- Auditions for the High School Spring Musical will be held January 13th. Please pick up a flier with more information and music from the office.
- Candy Incentives and Prizes: Students who sold 12 boxes or more of Fannie May Candy and have turned in all of your fundraising money, will be eligible to attend the Principal’s Party. The 5th and 6th grade Principal’s party will be on December 20th at 1:17 p.m. (7th hour). The 7th and 8th grade Principal’s Party will be December 21st at 1:17 p.m.. All prizes will be handed out at these parties. The limousine rides for those that sold 25 or more items will be on February 15th and 16th.
- If you have any fundraiser money, please turn it in to the office now. The deadline is over and too many people still have money out.
- Please remember, everyone who rides the Light Green (T8) Bus must be dismissed by 2:55 everyday. Students have 4 to 5 minutes to get to the bus before it leaves.
