TAYLORVILLE JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

  1. Good luck to Track Team at the Dragon Invite in Hillsboro Saturday, April 22nd. Start time is at 9:00.
  2. If you are planning on being in the 8th Grade Talent Show, you must either make it to the rehearsal next Wednesday or talk to Mr. Zini STAT.  This is the last chance for any new acts.
  3. Builders Club will meet Monday, May 24th after school in Mrs. Foil’s room.
  4. Cheer tryout clinics will be May 9th, 4:30 to 5:30 in the North Gym. On May 10th and 11th, the clinics will be in the Junior High Gym from 4:30 to 5:30. Tryouts will be May 12th starting at 4:30 in the Junior High Gym. There will also be a parent meeting on May 10th. You can still sign-up in the office. Make sure you have a current physical.
  5. Poms clinics and tryouts will be May 16th and 18th in the Junior High Gym from 4:00 to 6:00. Tryouts will be after the May 18th clinic starting at 7:00. You need to have a current physical on file with the school nurse.
  6. Pick sheets are to be turned into the teacher you received it from today.
  7. Attention all wrestlers:  The Taylorville H.S. Wrestling program will be having its annual wrestling camp June 12th-15th @ the North School Annex. Wrestling Room.  Sign-up forms are available in the main office and are due May 26th.  Wrestling camp is for all interested boys and girls in grades K-12.  If you have any questions, please contact Head Wrestling Coach Lee Mateer @ THS (lmateer@tcusd3.org or 217-827-3316)  
  8. Open mats will be Wednesday, April 26th at 4pm in the North School Annex.
  9. Information about The Fleming Academy of Performing Arts Summer Camps is on the counter in the office.
