STUDENT INFORMATION
- Congratulations to the 7th & 8th grade Girls’ Basketball teams for their victories at the tournament last Saturday!
- Good luck to the 7th & 8th grade Girls’ Basketball teams against Hillsboro here tonight at 6:00 in the North Gym.
- Good luck to the 5th grade Girls Taylorville Youth Basketball team against Clinton in the Junior High Gym at 6:00.
- Builders Club will be meeting Mrs. Foil’s room (109) today from 3:15 to 4:00.
- Report cards go home tomorrow. Sixth grade will receive theirs during 1st hour classes, 7th & 8th grades will get theirs during 8th hour.
- 5th Grade Technology Club will meet tomorrow in the HOT Spot from 3:15 to 5:00.
- Chess Club meets tomorrow in the STEM Lab 3:15 to 4:00.
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be starting at TJHS! We will be meeting the first Wednesday of every month with the first meeting Wednesday, November 1 at 7:30 AM. You do NOT have to be an athlete to attend. FCA will meet in Miss LeVault's Room - Room 307.
- This week is National Red Ribbon Week. Students across the country will be celebrating the importance of healthy, drug-free choices. To celebrate this event, our school will participate with two special days. Tuesday will be “Wear Red” day. The classroom with the greatest percentage of students wearing red at each grade level will win doughnuts. 5th grade will participate with their classroom teacher, 6th and 8th grades will participate with their 1st hour teacher and 7th grade will participate with their 8th hour teacher. Wednesday will be “Put a Cap on Drugs” day. Each student may wear a hat to show his/her support for being drug free.
