STUDENT INFORMATION
  1. Congratulations to the 7th grade Boys Basketball team for their victory over Stephen Decatur last night!
  2. Congratulations to the 7th & 8th grade Girls Basketball teams for winning their games against Springfield Grant yesterday!
  3. The 5th grade Girls Taylorville Youth Basketball game, scheduled for today, has been canceled.
  4. Monday is 8th Grade Night for the 8th grade Girls Basketball team. 7th & 8th grade teams will be playing against Central A&M starting at 6:00.
  5. Monday, the 7th & 8th grade Boys Basketball teams will be traveling to Springfield Franklin. Game time is 4:00, dismissal is at 2:30.
  6. 6th & 7th grade Christian County Youth Volleyball Skills Builder fliers are still in the office for those of you who are interested.
  7. Tonight is the last night for Boys and Girls Wrestling sign ups for IESA and IKWF wrestling at the THS Cafeteria from 6pm-8pm.
  8. 6th grade Girls Taylorville Youth Volleyball will have 2 open gyms, November 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 and November 18th 3:00 to 5:00 in the High School East Gym. Girls TYV try outs will be November 20th from 5:00 to 7:00 and November 29th 6:00 to 8:00 also in the East Gym of the High School. Please contact Lauren Suter, 820-7257,  with any questions.  
  9. Media Center book orders are due today.
  10. The Scholastic Book Fair begins November 13th and runs to November 17th. Monday is dress like a cowboy day.
  11. Please check the Lost & Found table outside the office for your belongings.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
You are standing in a room with 3 light switches. Each of these switches controls one of 3 light bulbs in the room next to you.  All of the switches are initially down and in the off position, and you are told that all of the light bulbs in the other room are off.

If you are allowed only one chance to enter the room with the 3 light bulbs, how can you you determine which switches go with which bulbs?
