STUDENT INFORMATION
1. Congratulations to the 8th grade Boys for beating the number one seed at the Regional Basketball tournament in Effingham last night!  They will play for the Regional Championship this Thursday, February 1st against Stephen Decatur.
2. Congratulations to the 8th grade Lady Tornado Volleyball team for their victory over Meridian last night!
3. Good luck to the 7th & 8th grade Girls Volleyball teams against Nokomis tonight here at 6:00. 6th grade Girls Taylorville Youth Volleyball will be playing against Nokomis at 5:00.
4. Good luck to the Wrestling team tonight at Mattoon with Warrensburg. Matches start at 6:00.
5. Drama Club will meet today in the Forum from 5:30 to 7:00.  Wednesday’s meeting will be in the Forum after school until 5:30.  Thursday’s rehearsal will be in the Forum from 5:30 to 7:00 with a parent meeting from 7:00 to 7:30.
6. 5th grade Game Club will meet today in the HOT Spot from 3:15 to 5:00.
7. The Chess Tournament continues today in Mr. Hill’s room (107) after school until 4:00.
8. Lego Robotics Club will meet tomorrow in Mr. Brown’s room (113) from 3:15 to 4:15.
9. Yearbook order forms orders are due by February 10th and checks are to be written out to Taylorville Junior High.
10. Limo rides for the Fannie May candy sales, will be February 8th and 9th.  You will be receiving your invitations this Friday.
11. Friday is Super Bowl Day! Wear your favorite jersey or shirt to support your favorite team.  Pick who you think will win Sunday’s Bowl game and you could be a winner too!
