STUDENT INFORMATION
- Good luck to the 5th grade Boys Taylorville Youth Basketball against Central A&M tonight here at 6:00.
- Good luck to those who will be competing in the T.J.H.S. Geography Bee, which is to be held in the Forum at 4:00 on Wednesday, January 10: Lane Kibodeaux, Madelyn Beaty, Daniel Sloan, Wesley Powers, Will Turvey, Dylan Jones, Wesley Fore, Chris Hartwig, Josh Barker, and Mia Matthews.
- Tech Club for 6th, 7th & 8th grades for today has been cancelled.
- Art Club will meet in Mrs. Elliott’s room (122) today from 3:15 to 4:00.
- Chess Tournament will begin today in Mr. Hill’s room (107) 3:15 to 4:00.
- Lego Robotics Club will meet tomorrow in Mr. Brown’s room (113) after school until 4:15.
- Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club will meet tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m. in Ms. LeVault’s room (307).
- Do you love trivia? Enjoy competition? It’s time to sign up for this year’s Scholastic Bowl team. The team competes against other schools at home and away meets. If you are an interested 6-8th grader, meet in Mr Burch’s room, 205, Thursday from 3:15-3:30. If you have a conflict with that time, just see Mr Burch.
- The Taylorville Tornadoes High School Dance Team is sponsoring a Junior Tornadoes Dance Clinic, February 3rd with a half time performance at the THS Boys Basketball game that evening. Registration fees are $30 and the deadline is January 22nd. Complete information about the clinic is in the office.
- Report Cards go home tomorrow! Sixth grade will receive report cards during 1st hour, 7th and 8th grades in their eighth hour class.
