STUDENT INFORMATION
1. The following students need to report to the HOT Spot after the bulletin today with a chromebook for makeup MAP testing: 6th grade: Trysten Anderson, Charlie Brandt, Seth Daum, Zander Frye, Thomas Gettings, Izabella Kail, Hunter Mumbower, Charlee Neece. 7th grade:  McKenzie Cisco, Savannah Groom, Kolton Harris, Garrett St. Clair.
2. Student Council Spirit Day activities: Wednesday - Generation Day, dress according to your favorite decade; Thursday - Sports Day, wear your favorite team’s hat, t-shirt etc.; Friday - Vacation Day, dress like you are on vacation but remember, keep it school appropriate! Have fun and show your school spirit!!
3. The Taylorville Sertoma Club First Day School Supply applications need to be turned in to the office by May 21st. All students in grades 5th, 6th and 7th should have received an application from your classroom teacher.
4. Yes, it is that time of year that you can come browse in the Media Center for books, audiobooks, VHS and more.  Did I say they are free?  Yes! for free!  Please stop by and look to find any treasures you just cannot live without!  Monday, the 21st will be the day any left will go to that recycled place in the sky.
5. Second semester Incentive List and GPA List are posted on the Media Center’s window. The Incentive Party will be this Friday during lunch hours.
6. For any 8th grader wanting to join the High School Cross Country Team, there will be a brief meeting after school in the High School cafeteria tomorrow, Wednesday, May 16th at 3:20.
7. There will be a brief Cross Country meeting for Junior High students on Thursday, May 17th, right after school in Mrs. O’Brien’s room (308). This is for anybody who is interested and wants to know more about Cross Country for next school year. If you have any questions you can ask Mrs. Howard.
8. Recycling Club will be having a pizza party on Wednesday after School in Mrs. Harker's room.
9. Boys Basketball Camp flyers are available in the office.  Boys and Girls Basketball Academy flyers are also available in the office.
10. 8th Graders: There will be a meeting Wednesday May 16 at 5:30 pm for those interested in Cheerleading for the 2018-19 school year.  Details on how cheerleading will be organized for next year will be presented as well as distribution of tryout packets. The meeting will be held at the THS Cafeteria.
11. All 8th grade girls interested in playing High School Soccer may pick up a Girls’ Soccer Availability sheet in the office and return it to Mr. Andruch.
12. Poms clinic will be May 16th from 3:45 to 5:00. Tryouts will be Friday, May 18th starting at 4:00. Both will be in the Junior High Gym.
13. The final meeting for the 2018 Washington D.C. trip will be May 29th at 7:00 p.m. in the Forum.
14. We have less than 40 extra 2017- 2018 Yearbooks to sell. If you wish to purchase one, please bring Mrs. Elliott (room 122) $12 and she will make sure you receive one on May 21st. Keep in mind, this is a “first come, first serve” opportunity and you must have payment when you request a yearbook.
