1. All 8th grade girls interested in playing High School Soccer may pick up a Girls’ Soccer Availability sheet in the office and return it to Mr. Andruch.
2. Open Gym for Girls Basketball with Coach White has been canceled for tonight. Open Gym has been rescheduled for tomorrow, Thursday at the same time.
3. Junior High Cheer clinics will be in the North Gym today from 3:45 to 5:30 and May 10th in the Junior High Gym 3:45 to 5:30. Cheer tryouts will be on May 11th at 4:00 in the Junior High Gym. You must have a current physical on file with the nurse and be passing all of your classes to tryout.
4. The Miles of Smiles dental team will be here today in the HOT Spot (room 130). Those students who have signed up to participate, will receive a pass when it is your appointed time.
5. The Curriculum Fair is tonight from 6:00 to 8:00. We invite you to come view examples of students’ work and projects in their classrooms. You can also enjoy music from our Jazz Band, 6th grade Band, experience a Scholastic Bowl meet, view Science Fair projects and watch Speech Contestants perform!
6. The Yearbook Club will meet today in Mrs. Elliott’s room (122) after school until 4:00.
7. The 6th grade Choir will be performing for the Senior Citizens at the Manners Park dining hall tomorrow from 11:00 to 12:45.
8. The 7th & 8th grade Choir will perform in the Honors Concert tomorrow night at the High School. Concert time is 7:00.
9. Drama Club will meet in the Forum tomorrow, Thursday, May 10th from 3:15 to 5:00.
10. The last Art Club meeting will be tomorrow in Mrs. Elliott’s room (122) from 3:15 to 4:00. Please pick up your projects if you are unable to attend.
11. There is a Chromebook meeting in the Forum May 10th at 5:30 for 6th grade parents and or guardians who have not yet received information about the Chromebooks.
12. Poms clinic will be May 16th from 3:45 to 5:00. Tryouts will be Friday, May 18th starting at 4:00. Both will be in the Junior High Gym.
13. Sign ups for the TYB/JFL Cheer Squads will be Saturday May 12th and May 19th beginning at Noon at Manners Park Dining Hall. Sign ups are available to students in grades 1st through 8th grade. Registration fees are $60.00. 14. Shorts need to be the appropriate length - to your fingertips - to be worn to school. You may be sent home to change if you are not following this rule.
