STUDENT INFORMATION   
1.   The second round of 6th grade girls volleyball tryouts will be Thursday, from 5-6:30 at
   the junior high school.
      2.     6th grade boys basketball open gyms will be tonight, Dec 5th, 4-5:30. Tryouts will
              be Dec. 9th from 6-8 and December 11th from 4-5:30. Open Gyms and tryouts will be
              held at TJHS. Pick up a waiver in the office or from the coach.
      3.     5th grade TYS boys basketball tryouts will be Sunday, December 9th from 4-5:30 and
              Monday, December 10th from 5:00-7:30 at TJHS.  Please pick up a waiver from the jr
              high office, on facebook or from the coach.
      4.     7th grade girls volleyball tryouts will be Dec. 12th from 5:30-7:30 and Dec. 13th from
              3:30 to 5:30 at TJHS. Please sign up in the office by Friday if you are trying out.
      5.     8th grade girls volleyball tryouts will be Dec. 12th from 3:30 to 5:30 at TJHS  and Dec.
              13th from 3:30-5:30 at North.
      6.     The 6th grade will be having a food drive from now until December 14th. All grades
              please bring in food items for the food pantry.
      7.     Illinois is celebrating its 200th birthday on December 3.  In the main hallway is facts on
              Illinois.  Your social studies teacher will be giving you a google form to answer 20
  questions on Illinois.  Students who answer correctly will have their name in a drawing
  for a $25 gift card.  One winner for each grade level.
      8.     The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet in Mrs. Hughes’s room 111, at 7:30 am
              on Wednesday, December 5th.
      9.    The Builders Club will meet on Wednesday, December 5  after school until 4 in Mrs.
               Foil’s Room.
     10.     The Lego Club will meet tonight, December 5th, until 4:15. Don’t forget to bring
               your batteries.
     11.     Fifth and 6th grade have a speech contest meeting in Mr. Hill’s room 107 today,
               Wednesday, December 5th during homeroom/2:35.
     12.     Chromebooks will be collected in the HOT spot on December 20th and 21st. If any 7th
               or 8th grade student is leaving school before those dates, they need to brought in
               ahead of time.
     13.     Friday, December 7th will be pajama day and Friday, December 14th will be tacky
               sweater day.
