STUDENT INFORMATION  
      1.    Congratulations to the 8th grade boys basketball team on their win over Nokomis last
  night.
      2.     Good luck to the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams tonight at Hillsboro at 6:00.
      3.     Chromebooks will be collected in the HOT spot tomorrow, December 20th and Friday,
              December 21st. If any 7th or 8th grade student is leaving school before those dates,
              they need to be brought in ahead of time.
      4.     Please remember that all students must have a signed hall pass to see the nurse.
              Students may not visit the nurse between passing periods without a pass.  Exceptions
              are during lunch/recess, pe and emergencies.
      5.     All girls basketball players need to turn in their uniforms by the end of the week.
      6.    January 8th will be dress like a superhero day to support the Rembrandt Art students.
             There will also be a bake sale on January 10th and 17th and Dress like a teacher day
             on Jan 18th.
      7.     School will dismiss at 2:20 Thursday and Friday this week.
      8.    The Principal’s Party for those students selling 12 or more boxes of Fannie May Candy
            AND who have paid all of their money in full, will be as follows: 5th/6th grade: Thursday,
            December 20th from 12:50-2:20. 7th and 8th grade, December 21st from
            12:50-2:20. Check the list posted outside the media center for your name if you are not
             sure if you are supposed to go.
      9.    7th Grade Speech contestants please meet in Mrs. Beckley’s room 103 for a brief
             meeting after school today. The meeting will be done by 3:30.
    10.    The Recycling club will have their pizza party today during 9th hour.
    11.    Congratulations to the ten students who qualified for the Geography Bee to be held after
             school on Wednesday, January 16, 2019: Jake Whetzell, Ian McGrath, Abby Norris,
             Chris Hartwig, Erica Edwards, James Febus, Brenton Good, Claire Vaira, Jesse Sloan
             and Drew Mickey.  Congratulations also to the alternate: Billy Harden. The ten finalists
             need to see Mr. Nieves today to receive information about the finals, prize information
             and study materials.
