STUDENT INFORMATION
1.  Welcome back to all staff and students!
2.  Good luck to the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams tonight at 6:00 against
             Effingham.
      3.    Good luck to the 7th and 8th grade girls volleyball teams tonight at 6:00 at Central
             A&M.
      4.   Tomorrow, January 8th, Students and staff may pay $1 to dress like a favorite
            Superhero. On Thursday, January 10th, there will be a bake sale during 9th hour. These
            fundraisers will support the Rembrandt Art Students going to Champaign in March.
      5.   The Fellowship of Christian Athletes will meet on Wednesday, January 9th  in Mrs.
            Hughes room 111 at 7:30.
      6.   Lego Club will meet on Wednesday, January 9th in Mr. Brown’s room until 4:15.
      7.   All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are invited to the YMCA on Friday evenings from
            6-10  for Teen Center. Teen Center offers activities such as basketball, dodgeball
            swimming, volleyball and music by Audio Dimensions.  Teen Center is held every Friday
            evening during the school year.
      8. MAP testing begins on January 10th. Mrs. Wise has met with the Student Council and
            they have come up with some incentives for those students who meet or exceed the
            map testing goals. There are posters in the hallways explaining those incentives.
     9.    The 5th and 6th grade speech members will meet 9th hour in Mr. Hill’s rm 107 during 9th
            hour today January, 7th.
   10.    Any 6th, 7th or 8th grader interested in Scholastic Bowl please attend a short meeting in
            room in Mr. Burch’s room 205 on Thursday, January 10th until 3:30.
