STUDENT INFORMATION
1. Good luck to the 7th and 8th grade boys basketball team tonight at home against Williamsville at 6:00.
      2.   On Thursday, January 10th, there will be a bake sale during 9th hour. This
            fundraiser will support the Rembrandt Art Students going to Champaign in March.
      3.   The Lego Club will meet today after school in Mr. Brown’s room until 4:15.
      4.   All 6th, 7th and 8th grade students are invited to the YMCA on Friday evenings from
            6-10  for Teen Center. Teen Center offers activities such as basketball, dodgeball,
            swimming, volleyball and music by Audio Dimensions.  Teen Center is held every Friday
            evening during the school year.
      5. MAP testing begins on January 10th. Mrs. Wise has met with the Student Council and
            they have come up with some incentives for those students who meet or exceed the
            map testing goals. There are posters in the hallways explaining those incentives.
      6  .   Any 6th, 7th or 8th grade student interested in participating in Scholastic Bowl, please
            attend a short meeting in Mr. Burch’s room 205 on Thursday, January 10th until 3:30.
      7.   Chess Club will meet on Tuesday, January 15 until 4:00.  The chess club tournament will
            begin on January 15th.
