The character trait of the month for May is self control: the ability to control oneself, in particular one's emotions and desires or the expression of them in one's behavior, especially in difficult situations.
Any 7th grade student interested in running for president or vice-president of student council for the 2022-2023 school year should meet with Mrs. Rice and Miss Morgan Wednesday during 8th hour in the media center. To qualify you must: 1) Be a member of the upcoming 8th grade class at TJHS. 2) Possess at least a C average from this school year. 3) Not have been suspended from school while a student at TJHS. If you have any questions, see either Mrs. Rice in room 310 or Miss Morgan in room 116.
