Happy Birthday to the following students who are celebrating birthdays: Dane Muncy.

The October trait of the month is kindness. Kindness is defined as being friendly, generous and considerate. 

School pictures will be taken on Thursday, October 20th. If you need a form there are some in the office.

The Student Council Dance will be October 28th. The 5th and 6th grade will attend from 5-6:30 and 7th and 8th from 7-8:30. The Dance is free and concessions will will be available. Only TJHS students will be able to participate.

All Students should check school email for the TJHS Booster Club Tornado Gear Fundraiser. There are some really great options for sweatshirts, t-shirts and long sleeve t-shirts!

Please remember that if you take out a kickball, basketball, or other equipment at recess, you are responsible for bringing it back in when recess ends.  Lots of equipment is being left outside after recess.  If it continues, students will no longer be able to take basketballs and other equipment outside. 

Please check the Lost and Found table for any items that you may have lost. Unclaimed items will be donated in the next few days.

Congratulations to Liam Bettis who got 3rd in State at the State Cross Country meet on Saturday!! Way to go Liam!!

The TJHS student Council will meet on Thursday, October 20 in the Hot Spot during 9th hour. Student Council members please check the StuCo Google Classroom for information.

 

The Christian County YMCA is hosting teen Center this Friday, October 21, from 6-10. Teen Center is open to all 6-8 garage students.

 

The THS Student Council is hosting a Gold Walk this Saturday from 10-12 at the high school track. If you are interested in walking to raise money for a high school student affected by cancer, please pick up a form in the office. All money raised from this event will benefit the student and his family.
