Book Fair begins Tuesday, October 7 in the Media Center. Be
sure to visit between 8:00 and 2:00. Who is the better “Champion”? Girls? or
Boys? Let’s find out. Bring your spare change to the Media Center and put it in
the boy or girl container. Whatever amount we collect we can keep to buy books
for the classrooms. Scholastic will match the amount in books for kids in need.
Help us put books into the hands of those who do not have them. Flyers for the Book Fair will be handed out
today or Monday. Each flyer is numbered. During the fair a number will be
announced. If you have that flyer and bring it to the Media Center, you will be
able to pick out a free book from the book fair. So hang on to those
flyers!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Two men were being
tried for murder. The jury found one man
guilty and the other innocent. The judge
turned to the guilty man and said, “Even though your guilt has been
established, the law compels me to set you free.” How could such a bizarre judgment occur?
What two opposites
can be spelled by rearranging the letters of UNGOODLY?
