STUDENT INFORMATION         
1.    Good luck to the Girls’ Basketball 7th & 8th grade teams against Riverton here tonight at 6:00. Enjoy the music of the Junior High Jazz Band at the game.
2.    Good luck to the 6th grade Girls’ Basketball team tonight against Vandalia at 6:00 in Stonington.
3.    8th grade Boys’ Basketball Open Gym is tomorrow and October 14th from 7:30 to 9:00.
4.    Please remind your parents to sign up for Parent/Teacher Conferences on Skyward. Conferences are Thursday, October 9 from Noon to 8:00 and Friday, October 10 from 8:00 to 4:00. Remember, NO SCHOOL on those days.
5.    NO SCHOOL on October 13 for Columbus Day.
6.    Stephen and Other Dummies Bully Busters Assembly will be tomorrow. 7th and 8th grade assembly will be from 10:00 to 11:00. 5th and 6th grade assembly will be from 1:00 to 2:00.
7.    Book Fair begins tomorrow, October 7 in the Media Center. Be sure to visit between 8:00 and 2:00. Who is the better “Champion”? Girls? or Boys? Let’s find out. Bring your spare change to the Media Center and put it in the boy or girl container. Whatever amount we collect we can keep to buy books for the classrooms. Scholastic will match the amount in books for kids in need. Help us put books into the hands of those who do not have them.                                  Flyers for the Book Fair will be handed out today. Each flyer is numbered. During the fair a number will be announced. If you have that flyer and bring it to the Media Center, you will be able to pick out a free book from the book fair. So hang on to those flyers!  
8.   Terrier Picture Day is October 17th, order forms will be given to 6th grade during 6th hour class and 7th and 8th grade will receive theirs during 9th hour.  
9.    Wrestling Open Mats will begin Tuesday, October 14 and Thursday, October 16 from 6:30 to 7:30 in the Wrestling Room.  
10. Homework Helper today after school until 4:00.    
11. 7th & 8th grade Girls’ Basketball teams will be playing in Rochester tomorrow at 4:30. Bus leaves at 3:30.
12. 6th grade Girls’ Basketball team will also be playing against Rochester tomorrow at 4:30.
