The 8th grade Jazz Band will be playing tonight at
“Pack the Gym” night for the 7th & 8th grade Girls’ Basketball
game at 6:00. Students will be admitted for free. Good luck to the girls
against Williamsville. Come out and support our teams!

Good luck to the 6th grade Girls’ Basketball
team tonight in Glenwood at 5:30.
4.
Wrestling Open Mats is tonight from 6:30 to 7:30.
5.
Newspaper Club for 6th, 7th & 8th
grades will meet in Computer Lab 130 after school today until 4:00.

Sign up for Boys’ Basketball is in the office. 7th
grade Boys’ Basketball tryouts will be Monday, October 20th through
Thursday, October 23rd from 3:15 to 4:30. 8th grade Boys’
Basketball tryouts will be Monday, October 20th and Wednesday,
October 22nd , from 7:30 to 9:00.

Do you like to draw, play an instrument, write poems/songs,
paint or participate in any other form of artistic self-expression? If you do, come to Mr. Zini’s room on October
20th after school. We’re going
to start meeting every other Monday for the rest of the fall and winter. Have a ride ready to take you home at
4:30. This group is open to all junior
high students.
8.
October book orders for the Media Center are due Monday,
October 20th.
9.
The Drama Club will be conducting its monthly meeting today
in the Forum, 3:30 to 5:00. The club is seeking students interested in being in
the Spring Production, “Hotel Escargot”. Come learn about the Drama Club and
join in the fun of acting and improvisation. The Drama Club is open to 6th,
7th and 8th grade students.

Picture day is Friday.
Remember to take your picture order form with you to PE. 8th grade Girls BB will
have their picture at 8:00 a.m., 7th grade Girls BB 8:15, Poms at
3:30 and Cheer has been changed to 7:45.
11.
Vision & Hearing screening for all 8th graders Thursday
and Monday. Please keep
visits to the nurse’s office to a minimum!
12.
Claim your lost & found items off the table by the
office today. Any items remaining will be given away on Friday.
