STUDENT INFORMATION
  1. Congratulations to the 7th & 8th grade Boys’ Basketball teams for their wins over Williamsville last night!
  2. Congratulations to the 6th grade Girls’ Taylorville Youth Basketball team for their win last night! Good luck tonight in Hillsboro.
  3. Volleyball try-outs are in the North school gym today and Wednesday, December 9. Eighth grade will try-out from 3:30 to 5:30 and 7th grade try-outs are 5:30 to 7:30.
  4. The Media Center will be hosting another Scholastic Book Fair December 15 and 16 for the whole student body.  This fair will be a BOGO (buy one get one free).  It will be open from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm each day.  Flyers are available in the Media Center for details.
  5. This year's speech contest is Saturday February 20th. Any 6th grade student interested in participating, must see Mrs. Richardson in Room 106 to pick up a registration form to be filled out and returned, along with $5.00 for entry fee by December 14th.
  6. Students: If you need to use the computer lab to complete your hour of code, it will be open at before school at 7:30 and after school from 3:30-4:15 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week.
  7. If you sold 35 or more boxes of Fannie May Candy, please remember to send your selfie text to Ruthie at 217-369-4049. Be sure to include Your Name, Grade, and School.
  8. The TJHS Drama Club will have their first meeting Thursday, December 10th in the Forum from 3:15 to 5:00. Please check out the posters in the hallways for more details.
  9. 7th grade Girls’ Basketball team players need to turn in practice uniform and game uniform in to Mr. White no later than Friday.
                          
FACULTY INFORMATION
The Faculty Christmas party will be held at Angelo’s after school on December 11th. Please sign up in the faculty center.  Even if you can only stay for a short time, we would love to see you there!
