1. Open House will be tonight from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.. All students and parents are encouraged to attend and visit classrooms and tour the building. Refreshments will be available in the cafeteria.
2. There is a Chromebook meeting tonight at 6:00 p.m. for 7th & 8th graders and parents/guardians, who have not attended a Chromebook meeting.
3. Please dismiss the Taylorville Girls Softball Team today at 2:55.
4. Taylorville Youth Baseball Team will be dismissed today at the end of 8th hour.
5. Taylorville Youth Girls Basketball tryouts for girls in 5th and 6th grades will be August 22nd and August 23rd. 5th grade tryouts are 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 6th grade tryouts are 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. both nights. Please pick up a waiver in the school office.
6. 8th grade Junior High Boys open gym will be Monday, August 27th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m..
7. The Taylorville Youth Traveling Soccer Team is looking for 4 more players who are in 5th or 6th grade! Games will be on Sundays and the next practice is this Sunday at the Junior High from 2:00 to 3:30. Please call 823-9079 if you have any questions.
8. Junior High Welcome Back to School dance is Friday, August 24th. Hot dogs, chips and ice cream are provided. Students may bring money to buy candy and/or soda from concessions. The 5th and 6th grade dance will be from 5:00 to 6:30. 7th and 8th grades will have their dance from 7:00 to 9:00.
