STUDENT INFORMATION
1. Good luck to the Cross Country Team today! Please dismiss them at 2:45. They will be leaving at 3:00 for their meet in Shelbyville.
2. Good luck to the Taylorville Youth Girls Softball team today against Edinburg at 4:30. Please dismiss the Girls Softball Team at 2:55.
3. Good luck to the Boys Taylorville Youth Baseball Team against Lincoln Magnet at Manners Park, 4:30.
4. 7th and 8th grade Junior High Girls Basketball open gym will be Thursday, August 23rd at the North Gym from 3:30 to 5:00. Tryouts will be Monday, August 27th and Tuesday, August 28th in the North Gym from 3:30 to 5:00.
5. Chromebook meeting for any 7th and new 8th grade parents/guardians who have not attended the meeting, will be scheduled for Thursday, August 23rd at 5:00 in the Forum.
6. Taylorville Youth Girls Basketball tryouts for girls in 5th and 6th grades will be today and tomorrow. 5th grade tryouts are 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 6th grade tryouts are 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. both nights. Please pick up a waiver in the school office.
7. 8th grade Junior High Boys open gym will be Monday, August 27th. Times have been changed, open gym will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m..
8. Junior High Welcome Back to School dance is Friday, August 24th. Hot dogs, chips and ice cream are provided. Students may bring money to buy candy and/or soda from concessions. The 5th and 6th grade dance will be from 5:00 to 6:30. 7th and 8th grades will have their dance from 7:00 to 9:00.
