STUDENT INFORMATION
  1. Congratulations to the 7th & 8th Grade Girls’ Basketball teams for their win over Springfield Jefferson last night!
  2. Good job to the 6th Grade Girls’ Basketball team for their win over Pana!
  3. Good luck to the 8th Grade Boys’ Basketball team tonight in the Chatham Tournament against Williamsville at 6:45. Bus will leave at 4:00.
  4. Good luck to the 5th Grade Taylorville Youth Girls’ Basketball team tonight against Arthur in the TJHS Gym at 6:00.
  5. Fannie May candy will be here November 20th.
  6. School Pictures will be retaken December 1st.
  7. Wrestling sign-up sheet will be in the office through Friday, November 6th. Parent/Guardian informational meetings are Monday, November 9th and Wednesday, November 11th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Parent/Guardian and wrestler attendance is required at one of the meetings.
  8. Lego Club meets today in Mr. Brown’s room (113) from 3:10 to 4:00.
  9. Newspaper Club will meet tomorrow in Mrs. Richardson’s room (106) from 3:10 to 3:45.
  10. Taylorville Girls Soccer, for grades 5th through 8th, will be playing indoor soccer starting January 2016 at Soccer World in Springfield. For more information, please pick up a flyer in the office.
  11. All TJHS students are invited to join the Gold Rush.  This group will promote school spirit and support our junior high sports teams.  Membership fee is $10 which includes an official Gold Rush T-shirt and free admission to designated ball games including 2 girls basketball, 2 boys basketball, and 2 volleyball games.  Envelopes are available on the office counter and can be turned into your 1st hour/homeroom teacher through Nov. 5. Come be a part of #TornadoNation!
