STUDENT INFORMATION
1. Good luck to the Wrestling Team tomorrow in Jacksonville. Matches will begin at 10:00 a.m..
2. Group Picture Day is next Friday, January 19th. 6th grade Taylorville Youth Volleyball team and Junior High Wrestlers need to pick up picture order forms from the office.
3. The Drama Club will be hosting its annual clinic with auditions. It is open to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grades. The clinic days begin today, Friday, Jan. 12th, after school in the cafeteria - and continues next week Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 16 & 17th, also in the cafeteria. The audition for the comedy/western, "The Brothers O'Toole" will Thursday and Friday, Jan. 18th & 19th, in the forum. All meetings are after school, 3:15-5:00 P.M. Directors will be be double casting for up to 14 males and 20 females.
4. The Taylorville Junior Tornadoes Dance Clinic will be February 3rd. Registration fees are $30 and the deadline is January 22nd. Complete information about the clinic is in the office.
5. The Annual Boys P.E. Volleyball Tourney is today and will follow this schedule: 7th grade will play 1st and 2nd hours; 8th grade plays during 4th and 5th hours; 6th grade tournament is 7th and 8th hours. Students may attend at their teachers’ discretion.
6. No school on Monday, January 15th in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday.
7. Yearbook Club will meet on Tuesday, January 16th in Mrs. Elliott’s room (122) from 3:15 to 4:00.
8. Game Club for 6th, 7th and 8th grades will meet Tuesday, January 16th after school until 5:00.
9. Mr. Hill’s Chess Tournament continues on Tuesday, January 16th. Matches begin after school until 4:00.
